Badger Alloys was honored with the prestigious 2013 Manufacturer of the Year Award from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce on February 27, 2014. The award recognizes manufacturers for outstanding performance in workforce development, employee relations, manufacturing processes, operational excellence, environmental sustainability, and contributions to the community. Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges, who represented industry, education, and the public sector.

Sand reclamation will have big impact at Badger Alloys

Badger Alloys was one of five manufacturers to become involved with ME3, which promotes the implementation of cost-effective sustainable manufacturing practices and technologies that reduce community-wide negative environmental impacts.

Badger Alloys uses free bikes as part of wellness program

Badger Alloys employees have a brand new set of shiny wheels to get them motivated about wellness. The Milwaukee foundry gave about 75 employees custom fit bicycles, helmets and locks Friday to kick-off the company's new wellness program. All of Badger Alloys' 102 employees were invited to participate in the program and 99 enrolled. Before getting the bike, employees had to complete a health assessment and meet with a third-party to discuss results.
