Badger Alloys CEO to Attend Government Affairs Fly-in in Washington, D.C.
MILWAUKEE, WIS – Rob Cowen, president and CEO of Badger Alloys, Inc., will represent Wisconsin foundries at a Government Affairs Fly-in June 20 – 21, 2023, in Washington, D.C. Cowen will join a select group of Wisconsin manufacturing leaders who will participate in the event, sponsored by the American Foundry Society. They will meet with legislators to represent metalcasters’ and suppliers’ interests in policies including permitting reform, tax extenders, EPA rulemakings, “Build America, Buy America,” trade enforcement, workforce policies and OSHA regulations.
“I am honored to represent our industry and look forward to the opportunity to work with our lawmakers and representatives to advance sensible solutions for foundries in Wisconsin and across America,” said Cowen.
Speakers at the event will include political consultant Kellyanne Conway and Wisconsin Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-8).
